SOUND HEALING INSTRUMENTS

One such instrument is the “monochord” created by Fabien Maman, is a droning harmonic sound generating chamber which resembles a giant harp or guitar. The unique aspect of this instrument involves tuning all 30 bronze strings to the same note. When strummed lightly, a complex blend of subtle harmonics is generated from the primary tuned note. These resulting harmonics are fundamental to the sound therapy process, as they accelerate healing by interacting with the subtle energy field to clear any distortions or blockages.

We also possess a custom designed monochord table with a sound chamber using 60 bronze strings underneath, generating harmonics which interact directly with the spine.

A cornerstone of the sound healing work from the TAMA-DO institute is the use of steel tuning forks used on accupuncture points instead of needles. After years of research on musical correspondence to the master points of the organs,, the forks are tuned in a chromatic scale. These beautiful tuning forks harmonize or sedate the organs using sound.

We work with a custom set of Gongs tuned to 5ths and 3rds. 5ths stimulate energy while 3rds sedate and relax. We also use a set of specifically tuned "Chakra Alignment Tubes", made from brass and other alloys, along with a set of metal singing bowls tuned to a cycle of fifths.
